Bergamot essential oil is cold pressed from the bergamot fruit peel, which is a citrus fruit. This is definitely a citrus oil you don't want to miss. Its scent is bright and warm with a slight peppery note. It's the main ingredient in our Liquid Sunshine blend because it just makes you happy when you smell it.

When it comes to aromatherapy, we love bergamot for its uplifting effect. If we had to choose one essential oil to make us happy, it would be this one.
Our bergamot essential oils is bergaptene free, which means it can safely be used on the skin without the concern of sun exposure. Bergaptene is a naturally-occurring chemical compound that causes photosensitivity.
Ways to Use Bergamot Essential Oil:
- Diffuse (or inhale straight from the bottle) to improve mood and uplift the spirit
- Add a few drops to your favorite lotion or carrier oil to wear as perfume
- Mix with water and witch hazel to create a deodorizing room spray
- Add to your favorite natural cleaning products
- Use it to add a little sweetness or brightness to any essential oil blend
Botanical name: Citrus bergamia
10mL (1/3 fl. oz)
Pure, undiluted bergamot essential oil
Dilute 2-5% in a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil for topical applications (start with just a few drops per tablespoon).
Diffuse 3-5 drops in 100mL of water.
Store in a cool, dark place.
