Cinnamon leaf essential oil smells exactly how you would want it to, warm and spicy. Cinnamon leaf is less expensive than cinnamon bark and less potent but sweeter. We prefer this type of cinnamon for aromatherapy for these reasons.
We love cinnamon, but cinnamon is a 'hot' essential oil. Be mindful when using it. Diffuse less than you might with other oils and always spot-test on your skin before using topically as it may cause skin irritation.
