Spearmint essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the spearmint plant, which is a hardy herb. You'll find spearmint flavoring in food, teas, and toothpaste. It's also an amazing essential oil we think you'll love. Spearmint is in the same family as peppermint but has a brighter and more mild scent because it contains less menthol.
When used for aromatherapy, spearmint can make you feel energized, refreshed, focused, and motivated.
Ways to Use Spearmint Essential Oil:
- Diffuse when you're feeling 'stuffy'
- Add to a warm bath or foot soak
- Blend with a carrier oil and massage into your skin to relax muscles, including on your abdomen to support digestion
- Create a cooling spray by mixing it with water and witch hazel, then pray onto the back of your neck.
