Creating your own DIY floor cleaner is both cheaper and safer. This 3-ingredient recipe is both simple and non-toxic, making it the perfect recipe to add to your repertoire.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 gallon warm water
- 10 drops of your favorite essential oil
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a bucket.
- Soak a soft cloth or mop cloth in the mixture and ring out excess.
- Clean floor with cleaning mixture and immediately wipe dry with a dry cloth or mop cloth.
To add shine: If you want to add some shine to your floors as well, you can add a small amount of whatever vegetable oil you have on hand.
That's it, it's that simple. Even though I've been doing it for years, I'm still amazed every time I try a new, all-natural DIY recipe. They're always so easy to make and work well.
